More than 4,800 books are published a year for teens. With so many choices, it can be hard to sort the trash from the treasure.  YALSA’s list of award-winning books for teens as well as other recommended reading.

Homework Help

The Tennessee Electronic Library provides access to print articles in journals, magazines, and newspapers. 

Take full length practice tests for the ACT and SAT; AP Math, Science, English, and more. Tests are free – take them as often as you like!  Find free online practice tests, tutorials and test-prep e-books in Learning Express Library. Exams include:

With Smarthinking, students experience online tutoring that is simple, fast and always available. Students connect to live educators from any computer that has Internet access, with no special software installation or equipment required.  We provide online tutoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week enabling students to get the help they need when they need it.  Subjects include:  Writing, Reading, Math, Science, Business, ESL, Spanish, Nursing & Allied Health, Computers & Technology.

Teaching Textbooks

Teaching Textbooks offers printed books and CDs for tutoring Math grades 3rd - 8th, along with Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Precalculus.
