How old do you have to be to get a libary card? 

Anyone age 5 or older is elligible for a library card. A parent or guardian must have a card in order for children under 18 to obtain their own cards. For more information, please see our page on Getting a Library Card

How long can I keep my books, videos, or audiobooks?

The check-out period for books and audiobooks is 2 weeks (14 days).

The check-out period for DVDs is 5 days. 

How many items can I check out? 

You may have up to 20 items checked out on your card (including a maximum of 3 DVDs and 5 audiobooks).

How can I renew items I have checked out?

All books and audiobooks may be renewed twice (as long as there is no waiting list on the items in question). DVDs can be renewed once for an additional 2 days. All library materials can be renewed via our online catalog, over the phone, or in person.

What if I lose or damage the materials I have checked out?

If an item is damaged, please notify a staff member when you return the item. Library staff will determine if the item can be repaired or help you arrange payment so that the library can replace the item. You will be billed for the replacement cost of the item if it is damaged beyond repair.  If an item is lost, or is 4 weeks past due, you will be billed the replacement cost.

I lost my library card. Can I get a new one? 

A replacement card can be issued for a $3.00 fee. You will have to bring a valid, government-issued photo I.D. with you (driver's license, passport, etc.) when you come to replace your card. 

Is the library wheelchair accessible?

Does the library accept donations?
